Dr Kevin Thomas – MRCGP, MB, ChB

General Practitioner

Qualified in 2008 at The University of Leicester. Dr Thomas joined Market Rasen Surgery in August 2010 as a trainee GP registrar and became fully qualified as a GP in August 2013.

Dr Nation – MB, ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP

General Practitioner

Qualified in 1993 at University of Leicester. Dr Nation first joined the practice as a GP registrar in 1994 and re joined the practice as a partner in 1999. Dr Nation has a special interest in family planning and women’s health.

Dr Robert V Weeks – MB, BS, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFFP

General Practitioner

Qualified in 1986 at The Royal London Hospital. Dr Weeks began his career in the army and joined the practice in 1994. Dr Weeks has additional qualifications which enable him to specialise in minor surgery.

Sally Green

Our Nurse Practitioner /Team Leader is fully trained to diagnose a range of conditions including minor ailments. She is fully trained in diabetes, contraceptive methods, including emergency contraception. She is an independent prescriber and is able  to issue prescriptions. Sally assists the doctors with telephone triage.


Kirsty Severn

Kirsty specialises in diabetes, cervical screening, vaccinations and minor ailments.


Catherine Ogg

Catherine specialises in diabetes and minor ailments.


Lesley Everatt

Lesley carries out health checks, dressings, Learning Disability Assessments and immunisations and vaccinations.


Ailsa Lewis

Ailsa is responsible for the management of chronic diseases, Asthma and COPD. Appointments for Asthma and COPD are mainly held on a Wednesday.


Michael Smith

He is our Specialist Nurse for the over 75s. He carries out reviews of patients and identifies any areas that they may find difficult. This may relate to any medical condition, problems with medication, side effects, concerns with mobility, washing, eating or preparing food, worries about not sleeping, recent falls or trips, feeling lonely worried or depressed.


Simon Davies

Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Simon  is fully trained to diagnose and manage a range of conditions including minor ailments. He is an independent Nurse Prescriber and is able to issue prescriptions if appropriate.

Carries out health checks, wound care dressings and travel vaccinations.

They work closely with the nursing team and doctors, sometimes carrying out the first part of the diabetic or heart disease reviews.
